Security company requests: from registration to completion
One desktop system for receiving, routing and tracking requests at secured objects: from object acceptance and faults to contract termination or renewal.
- Client
- FTOP security company
- Type
- Desktop application for Windows x64
- Stack
- C++, Qt 5 Widgets, MySQL

The task
Requests at the security company pass through several employees and departments. The team needed to see each request's current state, responsible staff and history instead of gathering information from separate tables and messages.
Daily work required fast search by objects and clients, reusable filters and control over completion deadlines.
What was built
- One journal with the number, object, address, client, engineer, initiator and assignee
- Request types: object acceptance, alarm testing, fault, repair, maintenance and contract changes
- New, In progress, Waiting for parts and Completed statuses, with change history
- An editor with required-field validation and marks for completed or stopped work
- A filter page and saved templates for recurring selections
- Employee and department records, a duty roster and a shared MySQL database
The result
The entire request lifecycle stays in one window: a dispatcher registers the request, assigns an employee and tracks the result, while staff see the current status and history. The screenshot uses demo data.
